River Amber (Derbyshire)

There are NO official access agreements on the River Amber - Derbyshire (Ripley to Ambergate).

To run the River Amber will jeopardise possible and ongoing future access negotiations.

The river is very shallow, rocky and over grown.

Access agreements do not exist, future access talks looks very bleak, due to most of the banks and land belongs to private landowners, with private fishing rights, and all parties agreeing that canoeing should not take place on any part of the river.
